“I can’t say enough positive things about the Cooking School class I attended!”
Jan O.
Cooking School
Our Cooking School has been teaching home cooks everything from pizza making to the creation of elegant holiday buffets for almost 45 years. We have a reputation for intimate, informal classes on a wide range of topics taught by local chefs and other esteemed experts. It’s easy to register online.
Our winter/spring schedule is now open for registration.
Want a gift certificate for a Cooking School experience? They're available by clicking here . The fee for most classes range from $50 to $65.
Space is limited, and registrations are not held until payment is processed. If you have a Cooking School gift certificate, please enter the gift code after you add the class to your cart. If you are using an Orange Tree Imports gift card (plastic swipe card), please call us at 608-255-8211 to process your reservation. We regret that our kitchen is on the second floor and is not wheelchair accessible. We use director's chairs for our classes. Please leave us a note if you require a lower chair or chair without arms. Students must be 18 years or older.

Kringle Day
Pre-Order Deadline Monday, December 8 at 5:00
Ordering is now open for kringle from Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe in Green Bay. Pre-ordered kringle will be available for pickup starting Friday, December 12 (note that this is a week earlier than usual - these boxed kringles freeze well if you want to serve yours at Christmas).
Santa Cycle Rampage
December 13 at 11:00
Come cheer on the hundreds of bike riders dressed as Santas, Mrs. Claus, reindeer, elves, snowmen, dreidels, the Grinch, and more in the Wisconsin Bike Fed's Santa Cycle Rampage. We're so excited that this ride will be coming down Monroe Street this year! We've purchased 100 loud jingle bells to give out to spectators on our block. (First come, first serve starting at 10:45.) The ride leaves Breese Stevens Field at 11:00, and is expected to get to our area at about 11:15. Santa Cycle Rampage is an activity that raises critical funds that support youth and family based education and encouragement programs in Dane County. More information is on the Bike Fed's website .
Deliciouser Taste Sampling
Saturday, December 20 1:00-4:00
The Deliciouser line of seasonings is one of our favorite local products - and it's always a joy to have BJ come and offer tastes of some of the dips and other products you can make with them. These are perfect as stocking stuffers, hostess gifts and part of a Wisconsin-themed gift basket.
Kitchen Knife Sharpening
We invite you to bring in your kitchen knives, any brand - no serrated blades, please - for Keith to sharpen. Just $5.00 each. (You can drop your knives off any time, and they will be ready in just a few days.)
